Sefaria, a non-profit organization dedicated to building the future of Torah in an open and participatory way, seeks a part-time Marketing Associate for a temporary, four-month engagement to support our US-based team (parental leave coverage). The expected schedule for this part-time role is 20-30 hours per week; we are open to either employee or contractor status.
The Marketing Associate provides key support for the Marketing and Communications team’s day-to-day operations and major projects and initiatives. They also support our mission to make Jewish texts accessible and engaging for a diverse and growing audience.
The ideal candidate is equal-parts organized, detail-oriented, and creative. We’re looking for a highly motivated team member who brings a methodical and structured approach to supporting a busy, distributed team with day-to-day activities and project completion. The Marketing Associate will also facilitate communication between contractors and the Marketing and Communications team regarding project status and needs.. The Marketing Associate must be proficient in using technology and able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
The Marketing Associate will report directly to the Director of Marketing and Communications and will support the Marketing and Communications team in their work.

The Marketing Associate must be eligible to work in the US and can be based anywhere in the continental US, provided they can be available for full staff and other team meetings that take place during standard ET work hours. Sefaria has staff in Asheville, Boston, Louisville, New York, Richmond, and Washington, DC.
